Pick a service for full details, pricing guidance and FAQs. Not sure what you need? Ring us, describe the problem, and we’ll tell you straight.
Combi, system and regular boilers sized to how much heat your home actually loses. A two-up two-down in Lawkholme and a detached house in Utley need very different boilers, and we’ll show you the numbers before you commit
Annual services that keep your manufacturer warranty valid, and fault finding on Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi and most other makes. Pressure keeps dropping? Error code on the display? Give us a ring.
Leaking pipes, low water pressure, blocked sinks, new taps and radiators, through to full bathroom installs. Old lead or galvanised pipework in Victorian terraces is something we replace regularly.
New systems, extra or bigger radiators, power flushing for sludgy pipework, and better controls such as TRVs and smart thermostats. Cold rooms at the top of the house are usually fixable.
Consumer unit upgrades, rewires, extra sockets and lighting, fault finding, and EICR testing for homeowners, landlords and letting agents.
Gas safety checks, servicing and installation for shops, cafés, pubs, offices and workshops in Keighley town centre and along the Aire Valley.
An air source heat pump can work well in Keighley, but stone-built houses lose heat faster than modern cavity-wall homes, so the house has to be ready for it. We start with a room-by-room heat loss calculation, look at insulation and radiator sizes, and only then put a price on the job.
Outlying cottages and farmhouses around the Worth Valley that aren’t on mains gas often have the most to gain. In Haworth and other conservation areas, we also plan where the outdoor unit can sit without causing a planning problem.
Local Knowledge
Keighley grew fast as a textile town in the 1800s, and a lot of its housing still dates from then. That means gritstone terraces with solid walls, high ceilings and, on plenty of streets, cellars where the pipework runs cold all winter. Add the hills of the Worth Valley and you get heating jobs that need a bit more thought than a straight boiler swap.
Streets in Lawkholme, Highfield and Knowle Park are full of stone terraces. We often find old pipework in the cellar, undersized radiators, and boilers tucked into awkward spots. We lag pipes, reroute them, or move the boiler upstairs when that’s the better long-term fix.
Haworth’s cobbled Main Street, the area around the Brontë Parsonage and many older village centres sit inside conservation areas, with some listed buildings. Flue positions, external pipework and heat pump units can need consent from Bradford Council. We check before we quote, so there’s no planning letter after the job.
Up the valley it’s colder and more exposed. Frozen condensate pipes on combi boilers are the classic January call-out here, and most are preventable with the right pipe size, route and insulation. We’ll sort it properly instead of thawing it every winter.
Plenty of 1970s to 2000s homes with boilers now 15 years old or more. A modern A-rated condensing boiler with proper controls can make a noticeable dent in gas bills, and we’ll give you an honest view on whether replacing now makes sense.
